Meaning of non-handicap bets.
1. 1×2
This is a bet that predicts three possibilities of a match within 90 minutes of play: either the home team wins, the away team wins, or the game is a draw (1×2). The odds used are decimal bets, including the bet amount, which (will be explained in the following article).
For example: Match Inter Milan (Home Team) vs. AS Roma (Away Team)
TEAM | 1X2 |
INTER MILAN | 1.70 |
DRAW | 3.55 |
AS ROMA | 4.35 |
1 = Inter Milan wins
X = tie
Two = AS Roma wins
Suppose the final score of the match is Inter Milan – AS Roma: 2-1. There are three bets for the three options above. Each bet is 5 USD. Bets are calculated as follows:
5USD bet on Inter Milan: win, return is: 5 x 1.7 = 8.5USD (including 5USD bet)
5USD bet on the draw: lose
5 USD bet on AS Roma: lost
Note that the returned bet includes the bet amount. That means the 8.5 USD winning bet mentioned above consists of a 5 USD bet and a 3.5 USD winning bet.
1×2 bets also have an open bet on the result of the first half.
2. Total number of goals
Total goals | 0-1 | 2-3 | 4-6 | Up 7 |
INTER MILAN (HOST)
ROMA |
1.70 |
This bet places the total number of goals in the match within a specific range.
Players will predict the total number of goals in the match within a specific range to win the bet.
For example, the player bets on 0-1, and if the total number of goals in the match is 0 or 1 goal, the bet wins.
The ranges often given to players to choose from are:
0-1 | 2-3 | 4-6 | Up 7 |
These are the standard options of most bookmakers. In particular, an up seven means the total number of goals in the match is seven or more, and the bet will be won.
There is also an Up5 bet, which means the winning team’s goal difference must be five goals or more than the losing team’s.
3. Even/Odd
Bet on whether the total number of goals in the match will be an even or odd number. The number 0 is considered even.
For example, in the match Kingston City vs. Sunshine Georgies; the result was 1-0
The player chooses to bet Odd. Since 1 is an odd number, the bet wins.
If the match has no goals, it’s 0-0. So, the result is considered Even. Bets placed on Odd will lose.
4. Correct Results
This bet is on the exact score of the match in 90 minutes of play, calculated in decimals, including the stake in the coefficient. Players can choose to bet on predicted results for the Home or Away Team in the match. The symbol AOS means betting on any other outcome that is not the same as the results in the given table.
For example:
Players betting on the match will have the result: Chelsea 1:0 Man City
Result after 90 minutes: Chelsea 1:0 Man City, bet wins
Players betting on the game will have the result: Chelsea 1:1 Man City
Result after 90 minutes: Chelsea 0:2 Man City, bet lost
Player bets on AOS (other outcome)
Result after 90 minutes: Chelsea 5:1 Man City. This bet wins because this result is not on the posted list, so it is considered “Other results.”
5. Final Results
This bet is to predict the winner of the tournament.
For example, the final bet is placed on the winner of the COPA America tournament—the player bets on Argentina. If Argentina wins, bets placed on Argentina will win. This bet uses decimal odds, including the stake.
6. First half/ End of match
In this bet, the player must correctly guess the results of the first half and the whole match at the same time.
Players can choose from this table the predicted results of the team drawing or winning in the first half and the whole match.
For example:
The player chooses the Home/Home team, which means the home team must win the first half and win the whole match.
If the results are as follows:
Half 1: Home team 1:0 Away team
End of match: Home team 2:0 Away team
The home team won the first half and won the whole match. So, the bet wins.
If the results are as follows:
Half 1: Home team 1:0 Away team
End of match: Home team 1:1 Away team
The home team won the first half, but the whole match was a draw. The result is Home/Draw. So, the bet is lost.
7. Team First/Last
Total goals | FIRST GOAL | LAST GOAL | NO GOAL |
Newcastle United Jets
VS Central Coast Mariners FC |
1.85 | 1.85 | 7.50 |
2.20 | 2.20 |
For example:
I bet on Frankfurt being the first team to score. If Frankfurt scores first, the bet wins. If Berlin is the team that opens the score, the bet loses.
An own goal will be counted against the opposing team, meaning the other team will be considered the first to score.
For example:
The bet was on Frankfurt to score first, but Berlin scored their own goal. The bet wins because, in this case, Frankfurt is considered the first team to score.
8. Hybrid Betting
Hybrid bets are basically bets added to existing bets. It can be a no-handicap bet or a handicap bet.
For example:
MATCH | Handicap corner kick | Over/under |
Valencia CF (Corner kick)
Real Madrid (Corner kick) |
1 0.850
0.990 |
10.0 Over 1.85
Under 2.20 |
The team that receives the first yellow card
Total number of yellow cards
The team gets the first corner kick
Total number of corners
The team makes the first substitution
Total number of substitutions
A number of yellow cards and a number of corners:
Yellow cards are counted as 1, red cards as 2. The maximum total number of cards each player receives is 3. For example, the player who gets the first yellow card counts as 1. After that, the same player receives one more yellow card, Which means a red card 2 points. The total number of cards counted for that player will be 3.
Cards only count for players playing on the field. Penalty cards for coaches, directors, reserve players… do not count.
Corner kicks awarded without taking a free kick will not be counted.
